8 Weeks to go...and everything is A-Ok!

Happy news to report!  The weird 4 days we had last week have passed and everything is back to normal!  Maybe it was our son's way of telling us "Hey, I'm really coming, you better get ready!"

Well, we listened and got his room ready.  We are swarming in clothes that kind people have given us, so we washed, folded and tucked them all away!  It really does help in getting us ready and excited to meet our little guy!  We have big plans for him...well, mainly just cuddling with us.  :)

But we are happy and relieved he is doing well, and that my body has decided to let him continue cooking!  Almost all of the contractions seem to have disappeared and an ultrasound today confirmed that we are not on our way to labor!  And while a moving baby is great, I'm happy our little guy is getting a little more rest these days than he did last week!  (This also means I'm getting a little more rest, a welcome benefit as well.) But don't worry, he's moving plenty for both of us, and he's probably very thankful he's not getting squeezed by a balloon every 5 minutes.

Thank you all for your prayers, we really appreciate them, and as always, God listened.

Here's a sneak peak at what we're in for!  Look in the middle and you'll see his squished nose and mouth, and what we're hoping are some chunky cheeks!  You can start putting your bets on whether that is a Carmody nose or not now!

Last week some of our friends had a shower for us!  It was small and wonderful (and had bagels and donuts) so it was perfect!  We are very blessed.

So now, we're back to normal, though being 33 weeks pregnant is not normal for either of us.    And other than all of that, nothing new to report!

Thank you all again for your prayers and support.  We are lucky to have you all.  We feel very close to all of you!

Love,

Robyn, Joe & Baby Rosey
